    well all things considered it ain't so bad I guess, five hours of sleep.. got back to the apt last night around 9:30pm after a hellish 14 hours on China Eastern... that has to be one of the smelliest flights ever.... there is actually a cartoon PSA telling people not to take off their socks as the smell of their feet may not be too welcome by their neighbors

    so I had it all planned out.. bought 16 DVDs for the ride back.. was gonna keep myself up and then crash when I got home.. even managed to snag the emergency exit row both ways... and each time I get saddled with the meatiest and smelliest man on the flight... but even worse than that.. my power outlet is dead... and so are the ones behind me... movies.. poof gone... three hours into the flight I start to check for open seats since I am not watching Phantom of the Opera on plane TV... bingo .. two open seats... then I wait 15 minutes to make sure they aren't both just up to hit the head... then I move all my crap... plug in.. Oceans 13 comes on.. I get settled... and two women come back from the bathroom... pack up all my crap.. do another walk down the aisle.. by this point all the open seats and full of sleeping people and limbs...finish watching Phantom...

    then I remember that I packed up a take out bin of food from lunch with my Dad before I hit the airport... I take it out after passing on the airline meal... take out the disposable chopsticks packed from home.. green.. covered in mold... lovely...

    but eventually I got back.. saw the Mrs...gave her a big ole hug and smooch... chowed down on two beef patties she got for me..caught up on a little TV... then tried to sleep...and popped wide awake at 5:20am usual time if I were an LIRR man... hopefully can make it through all day today and reset my clock  for good

    only one pair of kicks purchased in Shanghai.. and only one visit to Yang's Fry Dumpling...
